Birthday Presents & Carousel Ride.....

We held Emma's birthday party at the Gage Park Carousel and everyone had a blast. The theme was princess & pirates so the kids got to dress up. Our dear friend Hud really surprised us all when he showed up in a full pirate costume! We appreciate everyone that was able to come and make this milestone birthday of Emma's a success and full of memories!

Emma's 5th Birthday Cake

This is Emma's 5th Birthday cake made my Mommy! Daddy helped too by cutting out the little flowers, windows and doors! Not too bad for my very first attempt at making a cake for one of my kids. It is so hard to believe our baby girl is 5 already! We love you Emma!

We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese for Conner's 3rd Birthday! They had a blast and it was nice to have our own little celebration with him!! Grandma Nancy was able to come along too!

Zoo Trip, 4-6-2011

So the weather was absolutely PERFECT out and Emma didn't have preschool so mommy and the kids went and spent some time at the zoo. It was so nice....the only downer was we were there around noon and I think all the animals were taking their after lunch naps!! Oh well, it got us out of the house and out enjoying the outdoors!! 4.6.2011

VIDEO: Conner & The Eggs....

Here is a video clip of Conner explaining what happened to the eggs that were in the refrigerator. I had gone into the kitchen and discovered a broken egg on the floor in front of the refrigerator so I opened the door and sure enough, I had 4 broken eggs sitting in the egg carton. The video is after I had cleaned up the mess and I had Conner tell me what happened. 4.5.2011

Flower Kids...

It was so sweet...the kids picked and brought me all 5 of my only blooming flowers I had in our entire yard. That's ok though because Emma said they were all for mommy (me) and it really did make my day. It's good they picked them when they did because later that day we ended up having severe storms with really strong winds.

Conner's Sandbox

Conner LOVES playing with his trucks in the sandbox and spends HOURS playing!!! Hard to believe in just a few more days he will be 3 years old already!

Chilling Out...

Curly Sue...

Grandma Kathleen bought these curlers to try in Emma's hair to see how they worked. Unfortunately they were a little too big for E's hair and fell out during the night. In the past, Grandma has used bobby pins to twist and put in E's hair overnight and it always looks so cute and very curly the next day. Maybe we'll try to find some smaller curlers to try? We still have fun playing "beauty shop" with these curlers.

Emma's Kindergarten Round-Up

Emma had her kindergarten round-up. I cannot believe our baby girl is growing up as fast as she is. This will be an experience for all of us. Emma will be in kindergarten all day, Conner will begin preschool in the mornings and Sara will be going to 1st shift after having been on 2nd for the past 6 years. We cannot wait for this next chapter in our lives to begin.
