Our Everyday Wonderful Life!
Ok, so a friend of mine at work who just had a baby herself was told by her pediatrician to shave the baby's head to help get rid of the baby "fuzz" so new hair can grow in. We decided to try this with Conner to see if he ends up with any thicker hair than Emma (since we didn't know about shaving heads when she was a baby). Daddy decided to go ahead and do this while Mommy was at work....I'd say he did a pretty good job.

He has become quite the rollie pollie.
Emma decided she wanted to hold little brother so I let her...she is starting to show more and more interest in him.

I have a feeling he's going to be bigger than his big sister someday soon!
This is one of Conner's favorite things to be doing -- sitting up in his saucer watching everyone/everything around him...but most of all he LOVES watching Emma play. They are going to be great pals!

Must have been having a funny dream -- I caught just a little bit of his smile. Notice how he fell asleep holding onto the tray toy!!!
After a bottle Conner fell asleep so Lewis went to go and lay him down in the bassinet but Waldo had already taken claim of the spot for his own nap. Lewis decided that he would just lay Conner on top of Waldo to see what Waldo would do and he just continued to lay there with Conner resting on him for several minutes before he finally decided to move on.
Earlier this week Lewis wanted to take the kids on a walk and go to the convenience store to get himself a pop. While he was checking out at the counter Emma must have reached over and snatched up a package of bubblegum. He said about halfway home he thought Emma was being ever so quiet so he looked to see what she was doing or if she had fallen asleep -- she was very busy getting the package of bubblegum open that he had not seen her pick up. So, he turned around and went back to pay for the gum and she got the package taken away from her by Lewis as she is still too young for gum!!!!

So it rained again this morning thus causing mud which Emma is drawn to!!! The girl is very quick and before I had a chance to see what she was doing it was too late -- she had already gotten dirty so I decided to just let her have at it and got the camera to take some comical pictures.

This hat used to belong to me as a little girl and now it's my daughters!!!! I believe the story behind it is my parents bought it for me at a Renaissance Festival many (many) years ago.
Today we worked down in Grandpa Randy's workshop shucking corn and while doing so Emma had fun going out into the light rain and splashing around in puddles!!! After we got done working in the shop Grandma Nancy gave her a bath in the kitchen sink!!!
It was a little messy but not too bad!!!!
Yummy.....I must not have been going fast enough for him in between bites as he started to gnaw on his fingers.
Today I gave Conner his first taste of rice cereal and he did pretty good with it! It's hard to believe he is to the point of being able to start taking baby cereal. He is now 3 months & 4 days old.
Both kids fell asleep and Lewis put Conner next to Emma to get their pictures taken together. If Emma only knew she was sleeping that close to her little brother she would have gotten up and moved away. She still isn't overly thrilled with her little brother but she is getting there -- just very slowly!!!For once I didn't have the camera at hand and so I wasn't able to catch the very hilarious part of Conner cracking up at one of Grandma Nancy & Grandpa Randy's dogs. In the beginning of this video you can kind of get an idea of how very amused he was by the dog. It was really neat to see him staying so focused on the dog for a such a long time!!!!
This is just a video of Conner lounging on one of the patio chairs while we were all outside enjoying the very nice evening. He was really a talking!!!!
