She took right to this little pool and had a very fun time.
From where we were in our backyard she could see the trucks coming and going from the city park where they are in the process of building a city pool.
She decided to get brave.

Emma had a playdate with a little boy who was born just 1 day before she was. His name is Desmond.

This was Grandpa Randy's fire engine pedal car he had as a child growing up. Just recently he had it restored.
Emma had SO much fun pulling on the string that made the bell work.

She sat in the car for around 30 minutes and had a blast.

Emma kept eyeing the laundry basket so I put her in it and she helped Mommy fold clothes. She had fun pulling clothes out of the basket and dropping them on the floor.
She was rolling the basket around by kicking it.

Mommy gave me some Cheerios for the first time today.....I like them!!!

Daddy lowered the mattress in my crib last night since I can now sit up and pull myself up.

Emma had fun chewing on the sign we made for Grandpa Larry's Birthday.
We had green beans for dinner last night so we decided to cut some up for Emma too and she really liked them. She had a few bites of mashed potatoes also but those she was a little unsure about.
After eating green beans and mashed potatoes for the first time we then went into the living room and she pulled herself up off the floor for the very first time too!!! The green beans made her strong!!!! :o)
