Our Everyday Wonderful Life!
Since Mother Nature can't make up her mind, we were stuck inside today so I got out the finger paints!!!! The kids had a BLAST and I didn't really mind cleaning up afterwards because this is something even Mommy enjoyed doing with them!!!
Story Time??
Conner did real good with the chicks....he really never tried to pick any up.
Emma wasn't scared of them but I think in this pic she had went to pick one up and it tried flapping its little wings.
Emma LOVED playing with the chicks.
Missy was hoping they would be lunch!!! We ended up having to lock her in the bathroom because she was going crazy wanting to get into the box where the chicks were.
Emma is Mommy's little helper...she LOVES to dig in the dirt -- wonder where she gets that from?? :o)

Our little man loves to be on the couch...whenever he is unhappy all we have to do is put him on the couch and let him be a little monkey....just like sister.

Emma found her Dora stocking cap in the laundry this morning when she was helping Mommy. She put it on and looks like a cute little ghetto girl wearing it around the house!!! It looks like here she is thinking, 'what's up'!!!
Emma modeling her new pink leotard that we got her for her upcoming tumbling classes. She went and got her tutu on all by herself. One of the neighbor girls came over with a friend and played with Emma & Conner this morning and Emma was having fun playing princess in her outfit.
Conner enjoys being outside and playing in the sandbox. He is now walking more than he is crawling. Today was the very first time Conner had been observed going from a sitting position to a standing position without holding onto anything.
Emma has really been into anything princess, unicorns and castles lately!!! It's so fun to watch her use her imagination and come up with things. She will often say "I'm Princess Emma". Always amazing us!!!
FINALLY....we got some nice weather and so I got the kids outside to play and get some much needed fresh air!!!
Emma & Conner had fun playing with the dump truck, putting dirt in the bucket!!! Emma actually spent more time digging in the dirt than Conner....she always has liked getting her hands dirty. I'm sure she will be a huge help when it comes to planting a garden this year.
Well, this was our first attempt at giving Conner spaghetti-o's....needless to say he didn't really care for them. I think they were too small and slippery for him to pick up. 
This is the fun part of eating spaghetti-o's....the mess!
This car was given to the kids and both of the kids LOVE it...Conner especially! Once it finally warms up outside it will be even more enjoyable as they'll have more room to drive it around. Right now we have it in our living room!!!
The other night Lewis found that the kids had gotten into some stamps and this was the result!!! Glad they are non-toxic!!!
Both kids got their baths in Grandma Kathleen & Grandpa Larry's kitchen sink....the same sink that Lewis got a few of his baths in when he was a small child. Speaking of Lewis as a small child, he had his 34th birthday while we were in Nebraska over the weekend.
