Emma's 1st gymnastics class

WooHoo!!This was Emma's very 1st tumbling/gymnastics class today. We go once/week for 30 minutes. She had a blast and I'm so glad we got her enrolled. There are only about 6 total kids in her class so she gets more hands on attention. She's going to be quite the gymnast!!!

Cute Lil' Ghetto Girl
Emma found her Dora stocking cap in the laundry this morning when she was helping Mommy. She put it on and looks like a cute little ghetto girl wearing it around the house!!! It looks like here she is thinking, 'what's up'!!!3.9.09

Leotard
Emma modeling her new pink leotard that we got her for her upcoming tumbling classes. She went and got her tutu on all by herself. One of the neighbor girls came over with a friend and played with Emma & Conner this morning and Emma was having fun playing princess in her outfit.3.7.09
Conner, 3-6-09
Conner enjoys being outside and playing in the sandbox. He is now walking more than he is crawling. Today was the very first time Conner had been observed going from a sitting position to a standing position without holding onto anything.3.6.09
She's not Emma, she's "Princess" Emma!!!
Emma has really been into anything princess, unicorns and castles lately!!! It's so fun to watch her use her imagination and come up with things. She will often say "I'm Princess Emma". Always amazing us!!!3.6.09

Digging In Dirt
Emma & Conner had fun playing with the dump truck, putting dirt in the bucket!!! Emma actually spent more time digging in the dirt than Conner....she always has liked getting her hands dirty. I'm sure she will be a huge help when it comes to planting a garden this year.3.5.09
Uh oh...Spaghetti-o's!
Well, this was our first attempt at giving Conner spaghetti-o's....needless to say he didn't really care for them. I think they were too small and slippery for him to pick up.

100% BOY
This car was given to the kids and both of the kids LOVE it...Conner especially! Once it finally warms up outside it will be even more enjoyable as they'll have more room to drive it around. Right now we have it in our living room!!!02-28-09

The other night Lewis found that the kids had gotten into some stamps and this was the result!!! Glad they are non-toxic!!!2-26-09

Both kids got their baths in Grandma Kathleen & Grandpa Larry's kitchen sink....the same sink that Lewis got a few of his baths in when he was a small child. Speaking of Lewis as a small child, he had his 34th birthday while we were in Nebraska over the weekend. 2-20-09

Video: Conner Walking
Yesterday, 2-13-09, was the very first time Conner took any baby steps and I wasn't expecting it so of course I didn't catch his very first time on camera. Today, 2-14-09, we worked with him some more and got a short clip of him trying out his legs for his 2nd day of learning to walk. At first he was fussing thinking "not again" but in the end he was so proud of himself!!!

After an exciting day, Conner was POOPED!!
This is the closest I have EVER been to a bat! This was in the rain forest at our local zoo.

Before we went to the zoo I had watched my friend Mary's daycare kids so she could run some errands. She has a glass storm door and Conner loved sitting in front of it so he could look outside.2-6-09

Conner's 1st Steps...
Conner took his very 1st steps today, 2-13-2009, at age 10 months & 1 week old!! I wasn't expecting it so of course I wasn't running the camera but we will get this on video this weekend and post it later so be sure to check back soon!!!

Video: Happy 50th B-Day Grandma Nancy!
Grandma Nancy turned 50 on January 10th. We had a nice steak dinner followed by a yummy cake and homemade ice cream!! Note that we only put 5 candles on the cake -- 1 for every decade!!
