A New Look

Emma had a very good time digging into her stocking at Grandma Nancy & Grandpa Randy's.
There were little boxes of raisins in her stocking and she was SO happy to have!!!

Because of the blizzard like snow storm we had today it delayed Uncle John in getting back in time to have our Christmas gathering so we had to find things to keep Emma occupied until he could make it in and one of the things was her playing around on the computer. She loves to click around with the computer mouse.

Emma's 1st Ice Storm

PS - Yes, I tried to put gloves on her but she kept yanking them right back off. I'm very surprised she kept her stocking cap on the whole time we were outside.

Results of Midwest Ice Storm.

These are pictures of the destruction the ice storm caused at our house. Not only were we without electricity for almost an entire day, early this morning a tree limb fell on the Jeep and broke the front windshield that we get to replace now. The last picture is of the guttering that was pulled down when the tree limb fell....it also broke our Christmas lights.

We were without electricity for most of the day so when we got back home after having stayed up at Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Randy's house Lewis had to get his daily fix of playing the guitar on his XBOX and Emma joined in with him.

Visit To See Santa

On Saturday, 12-08-2007, Lewis & I took Emma to see Santa at the local grade school however Emma wasn't very thrilled with the idea! It's funny though because we took her to see another Santa the day before (Friday, 12-07-2007) and she did just fine! I haven't quite figured out what was so different that she didn't want anything to do with this Santa???

Well Child Check-Up, 12-07-2007

Hi All,

On Friday, December 7, 2007 I took Emma in for her 15 month well child check-up (even though she is a little over 16 months). Her pediatrician seemed very pleased with her growth and development. Here are her growth stats:

Length: 32 1/2 inches, which puts her in the 90th percentile

Weight: 23 lbs even, which puts her in the 50th percentile

50 Degree Day in December.

It was a beautiful 50 degrees out today with the sun shining so I thought we'd take advantage of the nice weather and get outside and get some fresh air. Emma LOVES to be outside, it's always hard getting her to come back in the house.
